EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Island Employee Cooperative is a worker-owned co-op. It  provides good jobs for its worker-owners and to support the community where it operates.

Owning a share of the business gives workers certain rights in the coporation. Some of those things include; electing the board of directors, becoming a board member, setting strategic direction of the company and an equitable share of the profits.

Worker owned cooperatives not only strive to provide meaningful, living wage jobs, they give the workers a say in how the company is run.
