V&S Variety was built by the Seiles in 1995 to serve the variety needs of the island. Housed in the 5000 square foot retail store is a wide range of items including greeting cards, fabric, yard goods, house wares, small appliances, clothes and everyday hardware.

Hardware
Start and finish your home improvement project here. We offer a large selection of hand and power tools, electrical and plumbing supplies, a full line of light bulbs, caulking, sealing, and a rainbow of paints and finishes to choose from. And of course plenty of duct tape!
School & Office Supplies
Notebooks, pens, envelopes, tapes, everything you need to stock your office, or to prepare kids for school days. We can also special order office furniture and equipment.
Houseware
A complete line of housewares. Small appliances, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and coolers. Also a full line of cleaning supplies including cleaners, brooms, mops, buckets, and vacuums.
Sporting Goods & Toys

Lawn & Garden
Our seasonal department includes a full line of lawn & garden supplies to keep your grass green and your flowers growing. We have bags of soil, mulch, manure, and fertilizer outside. Inside we have garden tools, grass seeds, and seed and feed for the birds. In winter months, we stock snow shovels and ice melt to help with your snow removal chores. Power lawn & garden and winter items also available by special order.
Card & Candles
Greeting cards for every occasion from Ambassador by Hallmark. We are also a registered Yankee Candle™ retailer with jar candles, votive candles, Scenterpiece™ warmers and scents.
Party Balloons
Balloons, gifts, wrapping paper, and more! We have a large selection of party and special occasion balloons, as well as a variety of colors. All your party supplies in one place, and we even blow up your balloons with helium right in the store. Let us put together your balloon bouquet today!.
Printer Ink
We now stock a wide array of printer ink, and can special order many others. Let our friendly staff know the make and model of your printer, and we’ll find the refill you need with a delivery time of usually one or two days if we have to order it for you.
Clothing
A large selection of clothing, from every-day wear to a special item commemorating your trip. T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, pull-overs, and hats available from Berg Active-ware another Maine owned company.
